For those of you new to DMHA, We hold a year end Banquet where each team gets an opportunity to present awards... The Banquet this year will be held on Wednesday April the 24th.... Times to be determined... Directly following the Banquet We will be holding our Annual General Meeting, the AGM is very important this is where we vote in our new volunteers for all of our positions... If we do not get volunteers for each position we can not run DMHA. We need at a minimum 20 members to be in attendance to complete AGM. Plus volunteers of course for positioning.... This link will show most of positions we need filled..... If you have any questions about any listed positions please let me know and I will do my best to find you an answer.... The AGM is also the time we can take in to consideration making amendments to our current bylaws. If you feel the need to present a bylaw change it must be received 21 days prior to AGM, Which would be Wednesday April 3.... If you can not be present and would still like a position you can send DMHA a letter of intent specifying what you would prefer... If you are a board member you must be committed to monthly meetings or more.. Also you must have the means to communicate and respond effectively and in a timely fashion to situations that may occur and need attention throughout the season....

Below is some information regarding AGM....

(a) Active Membership:
Active Members shall include all elected or appointed Directors or Officers, and all conveners, coaches, managers and trainers appointed for the current season, and all registered players who are at least eighteen (18) years of age;
(b) Parent/Guardian Membership:
Parent/Guardian Members shall include all parents and/or legal guardians of registered players, in good standing, where the registered player is under the age of eighteen (18) years.

Unless otherwise determined by the Board, every Membership shall commence on or after September 1st in each year, and shall lapse and terminate on the 31st day of August next following the date on which such Membership commenced.

The Annual General Meeting of the Members shall be held each year on the last Wednesday in April at a time, place and day determined by the Board, for the transaction of the following business, to be set out in the agenda of such Annual General Meeting;
(a) approval of the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting;
(b) receiving reports of the activities of the Association during the preceding year;
(c) receiving information regarding the planned activities of the Association for the upcoming current year;
(d) receiving and approving the annual financial statements and the report of the auditor of the Association;
(e) transaction of any business which relates to the business of the Meeting referred to above, and notice and particulars of which are received by the Secretary of the Association in writing on or before twenty-one (21) days, immediately preceding the Annual General Meeting.
(f) election of the new Board of Directors of the Association;
(g) consideration of any proposed amendments to the By-laws of the Association
