Fundraising Update

FUNDRAISING UPDATE

Due to the school doing the same Little Caesars Fundraiser, we will be postponing ours until January.
We will still be going ahead with the Kidney Foundation Clothing Drive with the hope that we will have the community support we generally get for DMHA Fundraising.
Unfortunately, I had arranged all of our Fundraisers in the summer and did not anticipate the school changing their standard fundraising ideas.

STILL LOOKING FOR A FEW MORE VOLUNTEERS FOR THE BOTTLE DRIVE

 

Bottle Drive – October 21ST

  • 4+ Drivers needed with trucks or vans
  • 2 volunteers needed at arena
  • Door to door pick up – need as many volunteers as available (kids must be supervised)

CLOTHING DRIVE – Ongoing until December 2nd

 

Yuk Yuks – November 4TH

  • Sell 4 tickets = 1 hour
  • Set up - 2 volunteers needed
  • Bar ticket sales – 2 volunteers needed
  • Servers - 3-4 volunteers *MUST HAVE SMART SERVE COURSE*
  • Lunch – 4 volunteers to set up lunch, help serve and clean up
  • Lunch – make 1 crock pot of chili = 1 hour
  • Clean up – 4 volunteers needed

 

Worlds Finest Chocolate Sales – ALMONDS HAVE ARRIVED!

  • Sell 3 cases = 1 hour (Please pay for your almonds at time of pick up)

 

Poker Pigs – Date being confirmed

  • 4-5 volunteers needed
  • Sell 4 tickets = 1 hour

 

Little Caesars Pizza Kit Sales – January 2018

  • Sell 5 kits = 1 hour

 

Owen Sound Attack Game - Contact Brenda Acheson for details


Coaches vs. Firemen Game
 – Date to be determined

  • Raffle table – 2 volunteers
  • Chuck a puck table – 2 volunteers
  • Gate and 50/50 sales – 2 volunteers

 

3 Tournaments – contact Scott McIntyre for details and to sign up

 

 

REMINDERS:

  • Please make sure if you are signing up for an event that you are able to fulfill your commitment to your shift.  There are many families needing to complete hours and there is no guarantee that there will be room to sign up for another event as it will be first come first serve
  • Watch website for notices and updates
  • You are responsible for your own Fundraising Cards, so please make sure you keep them up to date and initialed as you are required to submit them at the end of the season to ensure your bond cheque is not cashed.
